Using Vortex fixed it. I guess Vortex will be the Mod Manager for Skyrim in GOG for now. I read the news from Nexus, but I thought it should also work in MO2, obviously I thought wrong. Maybe Vortex is using some tricks to make mods work in GOG. It didn't work for me with Vortex either :- (.
